Where did the Vikings eat, sleep, rest, cook, play and tell stories? Where did they store their precious jewellery, weapons and make their clothes? Where did they care for their animals?

Our challenge was to make and label a typical Viking model house in an hour showing how the Viking home provided these things. Some of the houses even had outdoor toilets!

Hi everyone my group did a good job at making viking houses. First I thought me and my group would fail and only make half. But then we did amazing! Aiden
ReplyDeleteI was the one who did the labels and lights that the Vikings used it was just oil in a bowl with a wick. Jennifer's group was a very well made and there labels had good information on them.from Sofia
ReplyDeleteThis morning we where making viking long houses using a shoe box as the house and different materials. We where all put in groups of 4 or 5.My group was Caitlin, Declan, Erland.C and Pippa. I thought our groups viking long house was good but the rest of the groups where amazing!Daisy

Hello class 5 when we were building our viking long houses everyone in my group worked well and everyone was included. Plus our long house turned out great I think everyone enjoyed making them and I hope that we get to make something like this again soon. Jennifer

DeleteHi everyone this morning we were making Vikings houses in class 5 and it was really fun and we got to use different materials. In my group there was Daisy Declan Erland c. When we were looking at the other groups I thought they were all Really good an that they made a good job of it. I really enjoyed this job and I hope we can do some thing like it again soon.

DeleteIt was a brilliant morning making the Viking long houses my group made a fire place a pot and sum lights. I like the sheep bed and the bed.I also liked the toilet made by William group. My group shared the materials we also made in the time too. Erlend B

ReplyDeleteHi everyone it was really fun making the long Viking houses in group's and I don't now about you. Also our topic of Viking's is really interesting and cool to me so that is what I think. One of the other group's had some really good things in there house like cloths, other fish hangers and some pretty good beds. My group had a cow that I made it was pretty hard, Tyler made a shield and sword what looks cool. Kaylen

ReplyDeleteWe were making vikings houses and we were in groups my group was ErlendB,Kadyn,Angus and Brogan.We all hade diffrent jobs and my job was to make the door and the loom which is what vikings used to use to make clothes.I also had the job of making weapons.We hung the weapons on the wall we used a cardboard box as the house we also had lots of other matrials to use. We had an hour to make the vikings house.When we had 10 minutes left i had to rush making the loom but i made it just in time. By Aneisha
