Our great global goal inventions
A few weeks
ago two men came in and told us about the seventeen global goals. We were so
interested in these goals and completing them that we set to work on making up
our own inventions. First of all we all thought of our own ideas focusing on
one of the global goals. Then we joined up with other people who had similar
ideas or were focusing on the same goal. After a few weeks of creating our
inventions we finally had the final piece. We showed it to the class and explained
our ideas then answered questions and fixed any problems. Then Ms Mackay who inspired us to do these along with the men who came in put
together a PowerPoint of all our inventions. We hope that in the future our
inventions will be made and hopefully we can complete these seventeen global
goals by 2030.

I think making inventions was fun. me and Tylers invention was the Robot drone spitter 9000. it was called that because it was a big robot who shot out drones who then cleaned up the sea. Aiden
ReplyDeleteI was very interested in bringing clean water to the rest the world. That's why I choose this topic with excited about talking about the project. when i found a really good group to work in I knew that our invention was going to be the best it could. I was pleased with the questions we got and happily answered them. Our diagram looked very good. It cleans dirty water and urine if they were somewhere that did not have a water source. I hope you got inspired to do something about the 17 global goals. Sofia
ReplyDeleteOur invension is called the robitic whale and it gathers rubbish out of the sea and it has a graber to take rubbish off fish.Cameron
ReplyDeleteHi everyone we really enjoyed doing our inventions it was AWESOME! It was also good fun looking at everyone's inventions they were really good. It was quite hard to think of something different to everyone else but we managed it in the end. We created a new petrol/ diesel its called plant perfect its made of plant juices and can run in all types of vehicle's and it is eco friendly so it is ok to breath. We hope you like our invention and maybe you could try to invent something too. We hope we do something like it again. From Aneisha and Erin.R

ReplyDeleteHi class 6 over the last two weeks we have made inventions that would help make the world a safer place to live. For example make the ocean cleaner for the animals who live under the sea. Or to stop climate change or global warming and also pollution.

ReplyDeleteHi everyone I really enjoyed making our inventions because we got to come up with an invention that could help us achieve one of the global goals. I was in a group with Sofia and Ryan. Our invention would help people who where dehydrated and it would filter the water to make it clean safe to drink. I hope we do an other activity like this soon. Lauren

ReplyDeleteWE have been learning about the global goals, there is 17 global goals and the world needs are help so we all made are own inventions. 1st we made up 1-3 ideas on a white board or are busy books. Then we got a A4 sheet of paper and then a A3 sheet of paper, then we got into pairs that had the same ideas all each other, I was with Erin.K and we made up the fluffy life time suit, THE fluffy life time suit is a big suit that has all the things you need to live a life time. It was in it... Space food-Water-A shower-A TV- A book- its Water proof- Lots of color options and much more. I really enjoyed doing the inventions and I hope we can do them again soon:)

ReplyDeleteinvention was the robotic whale it would help clean up the ocean and the shore it had a scanner on its eye so it could scan if it is living or not. It also has antena to tell it when to come back to shore we all worked very well together and im looking forward to do it again. Erlend.B
it was fun doing are invensions i was with Erlend and cameron and we did the robotic whale and it sucked up litter from the sea.I hope we do something like it again .William
ReplyDeleteWe having been making inventions to try help the planet. Some people have done there's on try to stop pollution in the air and in the sea! We did ours on stopping plastic going in the sea. We (Declan,Kadyn and Scott) made an invention to turn plastic from the sea into fuel we called it The Air-rucker. Declan and Kadyn

Hi class 6 I think the inventions went very good and it was very fun you got to make your own inventions and then you would find someone with a simillar idea and combined it together to make one I was with Brogan to do owerone when it was finish it was a subareen atached to a robot what cleers the sea. by Paige
ReplyDeletehi class 6 a few weeks ago two men came into our class room to tell us about the global goals their are 17 of them and they all have different meanings by 2030 we are meant to be finished all of them. the two men also told us a little bit about fairtrade they brought in some fairtrade footballs they were cool. then they showed us a video about the global goals. When they left a few weeks after we got to invent our own machines that help the ocean to make it clean and healthy because lots of litter is thrown into the ocean. jennifer
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed making the inventions and everyone,s invention had amazing information and detail. Ours was a called the quicker filter and I worked with Sofia and Lauren. We did a machine that it would filter dirty water into clean water. You would have it in the desert and I hope everyone else enjoyed making their inventions. Ryan

ReplyDeleteover the past few weeks we have been drawing and planning our inventions to help with the global goals. we watched a video of someone elses invention. Then we thought of our own inventions and then combined them with other people's inventions this was our group Angus Jack and Jake we thought of the all in one. Its the second drawing in the video it took us three days to finish we are proud of ourselves it was loads of fun.
