Today we revisited Muddisdale to let the P4s try some of the Mission Explore activities we had created. We had 4 types of activities - Nature; Experiential; Art, Craft and Technology and Shelter building. At each activity the P6s helped the P4s and lead the activities. At lunchtime we had a group sing-a-long. Read the comments below to find out what we all thought about the day.
I thought muddisdale was great fun as it was my first time doing mission muddisdale i enjoyed making dens and using flint and steal and making huge sparks Jack.
ReplyDeleteat Muddisdale we were teaching the p4s how to make dens mini rafts and much more. I was in the den building group. I was helping the p4s with Scott. all of the den desighns were different the p4s all did very well we used tarps,ropes and sticks it was very fun.

ReplyDeleteYesterday class 6 and 4 went to Muddisdale. We enjoyed it very much . I was in the experiential group. We made perfume and walked in the grass with bare feet. Lots of people did perfume and a small group of people did bare feet in grass. I really enjoyed it and I wish to go again. Sofia class6
ReplyDeleteHi everyone we went to Muddisdale for one last trip with primary 4 we were kind of like the teachers for them. I was in nature with Cierra, Lauren, Darby, Erin R and Jennifer our activities were scavenger hunt and make a picture or pattern in a tray I mostly did scavenger hunt it was really fun just watching the primary 4's running around trying to find some of the things. One of the things for the scavenger hunt was to find a but and someone the found a green beetle. I wish we could do it again but sadly we cant but it was a really nice and fun last time going there and I think the P4's had a really fun time. Kaylen
ReplyDeleteHi class 6 yesterday at Muddisdale was really FUN!!!. I was helping with the perfumes and walking in long grass in bare feet. I was doing it with Erin.k, Caitlin, Sofia, Paige and Daisy. Me Paige and Erin.k were in a group together and we started at perfumes. We asked the p4s who wanted to do perfumes and who wanted to walk in grass in bare feet most of the p4s wanted to do perfumes and only a few wanted to do bare feet in long grass. ReplyDeleteI enjoyed going to Muddeisdale. I was in the Art craft and technology we did build a den for a mini beast,build a bridge for a mini beast, and build a raft/boat for a mini beast. We also went with the P4's. The P4's went around the group's the other group;s were Experiential,Campcraft,Nature. At the end we sang the campfire song.

Hi class 6, Yesterday we went to Muddisdale. I was in the experiential group we did making perfumes and walking barefoot in long grass. I was in a grup with Daisy, Paige, Aneisha, Caitlin and Sofia. I think most people prefered making perfume . we did two groups then we had lunch then we tought the p4s a campfire song and they tought us a song then we did another two groups. I had lots of fun and I hope the p4s did to.

Hello everyone yesterday our class and primary 4 headed up to Muddisdale. It was our job to teach the p4 pupils how to do the activities we made up and did when we were in primary 5 and 6. We were split up into 4 groups They were called camp craft,art craft and technology,experantual and nature. I was in nature and we made pictures/patterns and scavanger hunt I had lots of. Erin.R
ReplyDeleteWe went to Muddisdale again but this time we brought P4 and gave them activities. our group was they had to make a den,raft or bridge for a minibeast most people build rafts and least built was bridge there were only 2. in the end I liked the other Muddisdale trips better but I still liked this one. Aiden

ReplyDeleteHi class yesterday we went on a trip to Muddisdale. We took the p4s with us to show them some things that we did in p5 for Mission Muddisdale. We had four activities -Nature,Experiential,camp craft, Art,craft and technology. At every activity some of us would be there and help the p4s and lead the activities. After some of the activities we had lunch after lunch we had a group sing-a-long the songs we sang was boom chick a boom and a tootietot it was so much. I loved the trip to Muddisdale. Cierra

ReplyDeleteHi class 6 on the 19th of June 2017 we went to Muddisdale with the primary 4's, they really enjoyed it but they weren't the most prepared we were split into 4 groups :Art,craft and technology, experiential, nature and camp craft. I was in Art, craft and technology I enjoyed my group and we learnt a campfire song from the primary 4's I wold like to do it again.

ReplyDeleteHi class 6 yesterday we went on a trip to muddisdale to teach the P4s (and Robert and Jack) about mission muddisdale our outdoor awards from the start of P5. We planned to go out for the hole day but some of the p4s weren't very prepared and it had been a bit rainy and wet so we postponed it by half a hour and changed the day about a bit. When we got there we set up the base 1 with our bags and carpet squares on a tarpoline then put another on top to keep them dry then we split up into our 4 groups (experiential, nature, art craft and technology and camp craft) checked our areas then prepared them a little for the p4s arrival then they split into our groups and we split into our groups then we set of to our places i was teaching them about experiential we were doing walk in long grass barefoot and make a perfume. after 2 groups we had lunch then we did two campfire songs (boom chika boom and a totie tot) then we did the other 2 groups and then sadly our day came to the end of our day we tidied up making sure to leave no trace then left. ReplyDeleteIt was so fun and interesting going to muddisdale I was in the campcraft group in our activities we gad to make a shelter with some p4's when we built our shelter we got some cookies and a flint and steel to show the p4's how to make a spark with flint and steel we explained to them that if you could make a spark you could make a fire.I think that I worked very hard and helped the p4's understand more about shelter building and flint and steel. ReplyDeleteHi class 6 it was really fun going to muddisdale I was in the camp-craft group and we were making shelters and once we had made the shelters we got some flint and steel and we showed the P4s how to make a spark with the flint and steel and we also got a choc chip cookies and the P4s also made sparks with the flint and steel. ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed doing Misson Muddisdale with the P4 because we got to teach them what we learnt with Ms Mackay when we there age. We also got to teach them are campfire song and then the P4s teached us a song to, I really liked the song that the P4s teached us because it was really catchy and now I cant get it out of my head. I really enjoyed going to muddisdale with the P4s and I hope we can do it again soon

Hello everybody on Monday we went to Muddisdale to show the primary fours the activates. We did in Muddisdale we were put into four groups to choose our activates they're was the nature group, the camp craft group, the experiential group and the art, craft and technology group. I was in the nature group we did pictures in trays and scavenger hunts. Darby
ReplyDeleteHi class 6 We Went to Muddisdale with the P4s yesterday to teach them how to do mission muddisdale award. It was great i was in the Nature group along with Erin.R Lauren Darby Cierra and Kaylen. We did Scavenger Hunt and Make a picture or pattern in a tray. We also found a few Green Beetles and Slugs and lots of different mini beasts. We were up their more than half the day so we had to bring a snack and a packed lunch but the packed lunches had to be waste free. I think the P4s enjoyed it alot and would want to do it again.Jennifer

ReplyDeleteHi class 6 I thought the trip to muddisdale was good most of the p4 lisend very well it was fun being incharge of our groops in my groop was Aneisha and Caitlin, Erin k, Soifa and Daisywe did macking perfume and walking in the grass with bearfeet it was fun ther ws 4 groops I think everyone enjoyed it by Paige
