  1. I liked doing Redland and Greenland because it was interesting to see what it was like to be a refugee. If someone wanted to move to Redland from Greenland sometimes Greenland would put up a fight but sometimes they would let the person come. I think as a country we should welcome refugees and be kind to them because hey might be scared because they would of escaped war so they might be scared coming to a new country and making new friends.

  2. i was the leader of greenland and it was very hard to keep everyone doing somthing and it was anoying because some people went to redland and some people were drawing bombs and not listening to others and that most people was just being silly but at the end people came over and joined greenland and it started going are way and it was very fun. :) Maeson Yates :):)

  3. Doing the Greenland and Redland drama topic is very fun and realistic. It just makes you think more about real life situations, some children are actually refugees and it would be hard.
I am in Redland and I will stay there but some other people would like to change to Greenland because they only have 8 people and we have 13. At this rate all of those numbers are going to go down and up as people come and go.
I would make a difference to the refugee children by making them feel welcome to their new school. I would ask them if they would like to play: if they don't want to I will ask them the next time. Other wise they will be lonely and sad. When they first arrive they will have struggles learning their new language.

  5. We started doing a drama role-play where we had to pretend we were in 2 different countries, some people where in a country called Greenland and some people were in a country called Redland. We had to write an anthem, we had to make an oath, we designed a flag, we made a sacred object and we made a day called Greenland day. Me and Ellen weren't really happy in Greenland so Ms Mackay said we could move to Redland, me and Ellen were happy we could move to Redland. Redland seemed a joyful, happy and fun country to be in, me and Ellen had to make an oath to be a loyal citizen to Redland and learn the anthem. Other people swapped to different countries, then we had to negotiate because Redland needed food and Greenland needed medicine. One difference you could make to a refugee that's at your school is welcoming them, playing with them and making them feel happy. Jenna

  7. I thought that the Redland and Greenland drama we did in our class was really fun to do and educational. It really shows you how hard it is to keep a good running Country in anywhere in the world. If a refugee came into my class/school i would make them feel welcome in our school and help them make new, friendly friends. If i was a refugee i would probably feel scared to go into a different place far,far away from home.

  9. I really enjoy doing this I think it good to learn about things like this. I was in Redland we were the kinder but less wealthy side. The other country was Greenland you had to have a certain amount of money before you can get in to Greenland they were less happy but more wealthy. we had people travelling to Greenland from our country and people travel from Greenland to come to us.

  10. This was so so fun I enjoyed it so much I was in Redland and transferred to Greenland. and even though Red land was supposed to be a happy place and people were going from Greenland to Redland and in the end Redland got the most land when I went to Greenland I felt Automatically happier because they game me and Kirsty a house, a job, lot's, of food and medicine and free health even though you were supposed to pay. I think as a citizen I could have done better by helping and staying loyal to my country even though I preferred Greenland. Kiera Clancy

  11. I like doing Redland and green land because I was originally in Redland but then moved to green land and I was very happy there Redland were arguing the whole time and when I moved to Greenland there were no arguing! I thought this drama project was fun. if a refuge came I would try make them feel welcome and treat everyone fair.

  13. Doing the Redland and Greenland drama project was really hard and a good learning experience. I started off as a Greenlander but then my country started to annoy me so I imagrated to redland and i am much happier there. If a refugee came into our class I would make them feel welcome. Ellen

  14. I liked when we did greenland and red land. We started by getting our countries organised - people, laws, sacred object, the leader, a day for your country (redland day or greenland day), and after that we started making the countries a play (kind of) in the football pitch. I was in greenland, and we got the top half of the pitch and redland got the bottom half. 4 of our people left because they either didn't think it was fair or they thought that redland was happier, but then they didn't have enough food to feed them all so we traded food for people. We got 2 more people. After that there was a massive debate about us having medicine because the people they brought were infected with a disease but they got cured but gave us the disease. Us and redland traded 1 half of their medicine for 1 quarter of our food and 1 quarter of our resources. It was all really fun. To help refugees we could make a charity.

  15. The whole Redland and Greenland scenario was really fun but it does make you think a lot about real life situations in other countries and a little bit here as well. Some people changed their nationality and we had brief arguments over supplies and resources. I really enjoyed it.

  17. greenland and redland was really fun but some people weren't happy at greenland so they moved to redland and some went from red to green and they were happier there so it was a mixed reaction and the debate was really fun. But it shows that running something can be hard and you have to have a responsalble like what redland had what was Anna and Kavan

  18. We did the ping pong challenge 3. It was very fun. You have to line up a few tables and if you want to make it a bit harder get some corners in there. You can not use any part of your body or your paper that you have but you can use your paper to blow through it. I loved it.
