Orkney summer flowers on the maritime heath

 
Here are some of Orkney's flowers growing on the maritime heath at Mull Head.
How many can you identify?
This habitat is very similar to another we have studied recently - can you guess which?

  1. I think the flowers are 1.Buttercups 2. Dog Violet 3. Marsh marigolds 4.Sea pink/thrift 5.Red Campion 6. Soap Wort 7. Wild orchids(common spotted) 8. Common birds foot trefoil-cocks 'n'hens 9.Silver weed 10. Bog Cotton, there are also some grasses, mosses and heathers. The habitat is similar to Muddisdale.

  5. I have looked at this link you provided and I have made a list of the ones I think are these flowers

    Colts foot, Marsh Marigold, Buttercup, Primrose/Primula Scotica, Sea Thrift, Wild Orchid, Campion, Grass Of Pamassus, Heather, Grass. This habitat is similar to hillside and Muddisdale.
