To make flubber we started by putting on a glove then we took 1 cup of PVA glue and 1 1/2 cups of water and mixed it together. Then we took a teaspoon of borax and another 1 1/2 cups of water and mixed it together. Once both the mixtures the PVA glue and water and the borax and water where all mixed we putt them in a tray and combined them.then we wated until it was all mixed then we played about with it. Flubber is a weird material I think it is a liquid because it takes shape of whatever tub it's in but that's my opinion what do you think it is?

Hi class 5 I think when we were making the Flubber the skill was working with others and maybe also approach challenges confidently because there was a few tricky bits. It was when we were measuring how much water you had to fill up because it had to be the excact measurement.

DeleteIt was so fun making the Flubber and to do this task we had to follow instructions and work in a team. I really enjoyed making it because when it was done it was a really cool feeling it was slimy wet and when I squeezed it it felt like a brain then Mrs Wragg shoed us a peace of Flubber that she left all day in a tub she let us feel it and it was hard I hope that were going to do something like this again sometime soon.

ReplyDeleteHi class 5 the Flubber experiment was GREAT! It felt squelchy,oozey and squelchy. how to make FLUBBER; first you pour a 1 and a half cup of warm water into a tray.Next you pour a 1 and half cup of Borax with the warm water and mix. then play around with it and have fun. From Finlay
ReplyDeleteI thought it was really fun making the flubber once we had made the flubber we could play with it. When I felt it I thought it felt like something squishy it was quite sticky when you squished the flubber it kind of burst. Brogan

ReplyDeleteIt was realy fun making flubber and the best thing was it was realy easy to make all you had to do was follow the instrucshons . afther we mixed all the ingredeants we had to wait a few muinits for the flubber to set . Then we got to play and exsperament with the flubber it was great fun and I would like to do something like it again. Erin.R

Hi class 5 I really liked making flubber and if you drop it the flubber will bounce but if you drop it to hard the flubber will brake but it doesent matter because you just stick it back together. The flubber feels very slimy and I hope we do something like it again. Aneisha

I think the flubber is a solid and a liquid. it had been a solid at one point and a liquid. If you make it a ball it would be bouncy.
