Today our own P5 space engineers modelled their own designs for spacecraft and space equipment. Last time we worked in groups and had a strict deadline. This time we had a much looser deadline (some models are still to be completed) and everyone worked individually.
To start with everyone drew a plan of their ideas. There were many very detailed and careful plans, Diagrams were thoughtful and well considered. Everyone showed clearly what a lot they had learned about what humans in space need to survive and how many different jobs a space craft has to fulfil.
Concentration and focus was obvious as everyone took the task very seriously.
Future space travel of the human race is assured.

ReplyDeleteI really liked my own spacecraft. It took me a long time to build It but I finally finished. I had a lot of junk left and I think everyone did great. My spacecraft was'not the biggest but I think I did a good job. Declan
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed making my spacecraft.It was called the Science Flyer 9000.It was also the biggest one along with another person's spacecraft.I hope we do it again. Aiden
ReplyDeleteHi class five it was very fun and exiting we had to bring in junk to make the international space station we had to include a gym,science lab a plant growing,solar panels a cupola and a module we had to use 1 metre of tape but if you ran out you got use another metre. There was know time limit and I finished on time. Erlend b
ReplyDeletewhen we did the space challenge I had no junk so I made a space helmet I wish we could do something like that again I rely enjoyed it I had to work on my own I thought it would be hard but it was fun.by Paige

WOW!Everyone's ISS'S (International Space Station's) look amazing!Making them was really good fun but some bits where tricky for example cutting plastic which is really hard to get started then once you've finished your ISS has really sharp edges. Some people are still not finished like myself and still need some more time which we should be having soon.I hope you liked making the ISS'S I did which was your favorite and what did you find hard?Daisy

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed doing making the space models becuse we got to use lots of diffrant meterils. In my model i had a gym,food growing lab,sience lab,a bathroom and a bedroom. On the outside of my model i had a robotic arm,solar panels and a cupola. I had so much fun doing this and i wonder what are next topic will be.

Hi everyone me and Kaylen made an astronaut glove. It had loads of detail like a watch,mirror and a safety booklet amazingly it was all in one piece. I had lots of fun doing this can't wait to do a thing like this again. Lauren

It was fun making the space helmet and I hope we do sommething like it again.Erin added lots of detail to my helmet like a water supplie,oxygen,commucation and lights. When Erin finished making my helmet there was still time left so I made one on her but we didint have much time left so I didint get to add anything to it but I did do the main part.Aneisha
ReplyDeleteHi everyone we all got to make our own international space station .It was really hard to make our models because we had to try and make it look like our plan.The robotic arm was the hardest to make because it had to be able to bend.We also had to measure out our tape in meatres and see how mutch we used.It was really fun making our international space stations and I would love to do something like it again. We had a challenge to build a space craft but it was'nt allowed to be bigger than a shoe box and I would'nt manege it then it work out beter than i thought .William
ReplyDeleteHi guys we had so much fun making our models. I didn't bring in any junk so I made a helmet. Since making a helmet was hard to make by your own I was partners with Aneisha. First I built a space helmet on her then she built one on me my one included water supplies a radio type thing that can contact Earth and lights on the side of her head. I used news paper at the back of her head then a plastic box in front of her head I put a whole in the box so she could breath I also used some more junk. I built the helmet in 20 minutes but Mrs Mackey said to think about it more and include more so after adding more stuff to the helmet I took 1 hour how long did you take if you were building something and what did you include in it? I liked building stuff buy my own but I like working in a group better. I hope we can do this again but maybe in a group.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed making the space molds and I think everyone space molds are good. I hope everyone liked there space molds as well. We had to include a robotic arm cupola science lab gym food growing lab solar panels and docking module. We can add extra feachure to our space craft.
