ReplyDeleteHi class 6 Yesterday I had the best time it was very fun welcoming the parents up to our class room. Me, Jennifer, Cierra and Robert were hosts. we had a way of welcoming the parents. we would swap jobs the jobs were explaining what they were going to do and telling them the rules the other job was taking them to the class room. We worked very hard to make this a very enjoyable afternoon. My job was quite tiring as we had to do it lots and lots. A lot of parents showed up and were very pleased when they left. I glad the way it turned out it was very enjoyable and exiting. Sofia

ReplyDeleteHi everyone I had a wonderful time at the Open Afternoon yesterday. I really enjoyed doing the story telling with Kaylen and Erin R. Our story was about a Mighty Mole that started to make a ditch then it saw the sun then hid under ground. It came out from the ground and its claws turned to stone. There was also 2 other stories, we also had loads of activities for our parents and adults to do. I can't wait till our next Open Afternoon and I'm sure it'll be just as much fun. Lauren

It was called the Mighty Mole of Orkney it was fun telling the adults and some little ones to. There was also two other story telling groups. Then after I read my story then I would go to Darby and demonstrate about the fire kit what they would of used to get there fire started it was fun demonstrating it. I love story telling mostly when you create them. It was lots of fun. Kaylen

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your open afternoon, but unfortunately ran out of time to see everything and try out all the tasks. It said it would only take 20 mins but I could have done with longer to read all the information and facts you'd recorded. The model of the Ring of Brodgar was most impressive and I enjoyed your stories about how it was formed. Well done P6 Caroline(Erin R's mum)
ReplyDeleteP6, congratulations on hosting such a fantastic open day. I really enjoyed seeing all the work you have been doing and came away with lots of ideas for things I could try with P4 too. Could someone drop my clay carving off at the P4 classroom? Thanks, Mr Ross
ReplyDeleteIt sounded like a fantastic open afternoon and I was very sorry to have missed it.
