  2. I loved doing the tour guiding, everyone did brilliant, especially Katie or should I say Constable Davie, in my group who kind of struggled with her lines. I didn't understand at first when every parent laughed when I said, "Tae cover up the taste of the guffin old meat." I found it funny when Leona said, "I hope your not complaining...... buey, your lucky to be apart of this great hoosehold." Lets hope the P7's in our class get to see us sometime, if you do I hope u enjoy it! I will do the maid character proud Ellen! Jenna

    1. Yes it was really fun. I think that Liam did well on his lines as well as Charlie. I can't speak Orcadian so it is good that I am not in group two. I like this line that Leah says "You see there is a new fashion for buildings all across Europe, and I do like to keep up with the latest trends." I also like how I have to teach everyone how to bow and curtsy. I also had to teach myself how to do it but I got great help from Anna. She was a great Lady - in - waiting last year, but just like buildings, the Countess does like to keep up with the latest trends. So it looks like I am the latest trend at the moment. We will just have to see who it is next year. Good luck p5s. And another thing is that if you are in group 3 you shouldn't run around and go into the Earl's room. You should stand in your spot unless you are speaking and you have to move. But it was really, really, really, really fun.

  6. I enjoyed doing our first ever tour guiding for our parents. I am very exited to do more tours for others schools. I think everyone was a bit nervous for our first tour, but I'm glad everyone did heir best to try and make sure they got all their lines right and at the right time.

  8. The launch day was really nerve-racking and every time I looked at my mum I smirked so i had to try not to look at her. It was fun and exciting to play characters from the past. I don't think I could have done as many lines as Archie or Dan. All of us done really good and i'm proud of everyone. Good job everyone!

  10. i really enjoyed tour guiding the second time we done it it was a lot easier and harder because the second time there were lots of my friends their but i knew my lines and so did everyone else and i think charlie the earl did a very good job of remembering his lines because he had a lot to say i also think that Archie (St Mangnus) he had lots of very big lines one that lasted about the whole page but he did a very good job of remembering his lines but im sure that everyone had a very good and enjoyable time. 11. Tour guiding for me is maybe my favorite thing in P6 so far, well other than the Japan Topic. My favorite thing in my group in tour guiding is probably the kitchen bit. Its sad how Maeson couldn't be there when we were doing the tour for the children from St Andrews. Luckily Connor filled in for him, he was quite good for a fill in, it sort of ruined the tour guiding slightly when he used the script but it was fine. Its a great experience and I hope we have everyone here for the next tour guiding session, P5's remember to practise when its your turn and remember to stand still. Lets hope you will enjoy it as much as everyone in P6 and past tour guiding children. If someone else is nervous try to reassure them that they will be OK and that might help is you are nervous.
