restoring the structures
Today we went to Muddisdale and we were in groups and came up with group names. There was Tealkdace, Muddisdale All Stars and Nature Agents. Once we came up with our names we picked some activities such as make a perfume, start a fire and build a bridge between two trees for mini beasts. When we got to Muddisdale we got with our groups and with our teachers and went to start our activities. Some of us started with the pit fall traps to make a pit fall trap we had to get a jar and put some jam or apple in it then find a good spot to put the jar this could be somewhere sheltered.   by Kaylen and Lauren

  10. On Tuesday the 3rd of may we went down to Muddisdale for a trip this week. We where put in groups of eight and did all sorts of activities like pitfall traps and walking in grass barefooted. Some groups did perfume making and all the groups did the make fire activity witch we did with Ms Mackay. Me and Jennifer made a mini raft for minibeasts. We used real wool for tying sticks together. When we did the pitfall trap we had to dig a big hole for the glass jar with jam and apple in it. Next time we go I think were going to see if any minibeasts have fallen in. I got to smell Erin.k's and Erin.r's perfume it smelt quite odd. I wonder what we will do next time we go. Sofia

  11. hi class 5 going to Muddisdale was so much fun.I was in the group tealkdace (we are changing the name.)My personal favorite was pitfall traps which we all did.I also really liked walking in grass in bare feet but out of 8 in our group only 3 did it. it was really cold and wet and in the really long grass spiky. It was a shame it was wet and rainy and it stopped one group building a fire so we couldn't make and eat dough twists but instead we all did start a fire which was fun but next week when we go back to Muddisdale and we can hope fully make and eat dough twists.I cant wait to go back next week when we can look at our pitfall traps and see what we got if we got anything (I hope there wasn't a big bug that ate all the little ones) and hope fully make and eat dough twists. 12. hi class 5 i had great fun at Muddisdale it is like a minibeast wonderland. We did lots of amazing things like how to start a fire and walking in grass bare footed and making pitfall traps but my faviourite thing was building a raft for minibeasts. We got small sticks and string to tie it together some people even put little flags that were made out of leaves. When we go back to Muddisdale i cant wait to see our pitfall traps because it will be interesting to see how many minibeasts are in the jar i will be quite disapointed if there is none.Jennifer

  17. I enjoyed going up to Muddisdale and our group name was nature agents and our four activity was start a fire walking on grass bare feet make a raft and pit fall traps. The start a fire was really fun and the pit fall traps was fun as well. The bare feet was pain full and it feels weird some of the grass was warm and some of the other grass was not warm. The raft bulding was easy most of the rafts flouted but some did't flout

  18. Hi class 5 yesterday we went to Muddisdale and my group made a raft and me and Erin.R were partners together to make it and Erin .R collected the sticks and long grass so I could tie the sticks together with the long grass. Then I found a slug and put him on the raft then I put the raft in the water. Then I picked up the slug that I called Roger and set him back were I found him I'm exited for the net trip
