This video will give you an idea of the activities we enjoyed at The Peedie Sea today, although it is mostly one group's experiences everyone had a chance to try all three activities.

This week we also had the wildlife bus visit our classroom and we learned about the wildcat and the beaver and the habitats they live in.
We also said goodbye to James, we will miss him, but we are sure he'll make loads of new friends at his new school - keep leaving comments James - next year look at the P6 blog though...

ReplyDeleteHi class 5. It was so fun doing bushcraft.I liked making the fire and burning the cotton wool. It was also fun to make bread and eat it. I really liked the climbing because I got to the top four times and I used to be scared of heights but now i am not I liked being an anchor to and the bell ringer. When I was an anchor I just had to sit and relax but when the climber comes down your chest gets pulled a little bit. When I was the bell ringer I had to pull a rope to help the climber get up and down. I liked the third activity because we played a game called battle ships and even though my team didn't win we still had lots of fun. I hope we can do something like this in P6. From Jessica.

ReplyDeleteI had the best day ever yesterday it was so much fun I wish I could do it every day.The part I didnt like was wen I got hit with a ball when my groop was playing battle ships on the canoes but I still had lots of fun. On the climing wall I got to the top 3 times and got stuck in the midle 1 time. I had lots of fun on the climing wall and I hope every body did aswell. At bush craft we got to coock bread sticks over the fires we maid and we got to coock the bread sticks on bamboo sticks. My fafrot thing to do was the climing because we all got a turn and no one got hurt. I hope we do something like this in P6.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the activity day. First our group went climbing and I went up 4 times and got to the top every time. Then we went canoeing and we played battle ships and I think our boat won. I got a bit wet when we were doing canoeing.Then we went to do the bush craft and it was really fun. We got to make bread sticks and my one tasted really sweet. I had so much fun! :)

Hi class 5. I really liked doing the activities all day there is so many things i want to say I can't say them all. The activity that I liked the most was the canoeing because it was so fun my canoe had all boys and the other canoe had all girls but the ryan got put on the girls one but we still won at all the games and we were better at canoeing ! -Mason p5

ReplyDeletefirst then we did canoeing and at the end we did bush craft. At climbing I climbed to the top of the climbing wall. At the canoeing we went at LIGHT SPEED! And at bush craft we made bread and it tasted delicious. I went to bed early that night I was so tired.Scott.

ReplyDeleteHi class 5. I loved doing the activites. First my group did climbing on a mobile climbing wall it was fun. I got four shots at climbing. Then we did canoeing on the peedie sea. I think that was my favourite activity. We played a game called battle ships were we had to throw a tennis ball and try and get it in the other boat then they would get a point but if the other boat caught it, it would be a point against us. The first boat with ten points win. We lost. Next we did bush craft. Aria

ReplyDeleteIt was fun yesterday. My favourite activity was climbing. It was funny because the instructor kept calling Kacey chatterbox. I would like to start climbing at picky now. I think the canoeing was ok but it was fun when we played this game called battle ships where there was 2 tennis balls and you had to through the ball into the other canoe it was fun and I got realy wet and so did the ball I realy enjoyed the bush craft thanks Ms Mackay

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed all of the activity day I was in group C we did the activity's in this order canoeing, bush craft and climbing wall. I went flying up in the air and Ryan had to hold me down when Mason came down the climbing wall (we didn't think it through properly). I LOVED the canoeing me, Mason, Ryan, Derek, Steve. Euan H

ReplyDeleteYesterday was SO FUN!!! My favorite part of bush craft was making bread our own bread over our own fire.My favorite part of climbing was getting to climb so high.
And in the peedie sea my favorite part was getting to play games.

I got to light a fire and put up a tent. Then we did the climbing wall. But first we did a warm up before we went on the wall. The wall was 25m high. I went to the very top of the wall. i had a good time with my team.

ReplyDeleteI think it was fun doing outdoor activity i did canoeing there was 4 boats and the put them togther so the boys whent in a boat and the girls whent in the other boat and we whent to play games the first game we played was fruit sald and secion one we played was batle ships and we had a grown up on the conoe whit use i enjoyed conoeing . THen we did buledrathing and i enjoyed making the bread sticks and things to sivey in the woods you need water food a shelter and a fire to keep your selv worm . THen we did climing i went to the section metal pare on the climing frame.
