Today we went along to the visiting Cosy Cosy Workshop - all about insulation and energy in the home. It was great fun! Designed like a quiz game Thermal Thelma and Toasty Tim helped us learn about heat energy travels through materials and spaces in our homes and what we can do to save energy and ultimately the planet!
How well would a Viking home be insulated from the cold?
It was fun feeling how hot the little house was.

At Cosy Cosy Workshop we went into threes at a little model house that could heat up like it was a real house. I went in a group with Keira and Courtney, we were group seven. We had to answer questions and if we got it right our group would get some money from The Cosy Bank Of Scotland. We would be able to buy something to insulate our house walls and there was some mini jumpers and mini pairs of slippers!

It was fun doing the cosy cosy workshop. We got two hundred pounds to start with and if we got a question right we would get twenty or ten pounds or maybe even more. There were eight house but we only used seven. There were a few quizzes and near the end we got a challenge to do, we got a menu to pick things for our houses like accessories, different materials to put around your house to make it warmer, and materials to put on your roof.
